01 — Who we are
We don't arrive with answers. We arrive with the village.
Every programme we run begins with a month of listening — to mothers, teachers, panchayat members, and the children themselves. Only then do we commit resources, and we stay until the community can carry the work without us.
That patience is why 9 of our 12 early centres are now run entirely by local staff.

Listen
Four weeks of household visits and open meetings before a single rupee is committed.

Co-design
The village names the problem, the target and who will be accountable for it locally.

Fund & run
We hire from within the district, publish costs monthly, and review results every quarter.

Hand over
Once local staff can run it alone, we step back to funding and audit only.

07 — Questions
Before you give, ask us anything.
Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. We are registered under Sec. 80G, and a receipt reaches your inbox within 48 hours of the transaction. CSR contributions are covered by our CSR-1 registration.
How much of my money actually reaches the field?
86 paise of every rupee goes directly to programme costs. The remaining 14 covers salaries, travel, audit and compliance \u2014 the full break-up is in our annual report.
Can I choose which programme my money funds?
You can. Restricted giving is welcome at 910,000 and above; below that we pool funds so small centres are not left waiting for a matching donor.
I can only give two hours a week. Is that useful?
Very. Most of our teaching volunteers give one weekend session a fortnight. Remote help 2014 accounts, translation, design, grant writing \u2014 is just as welcome.
Do you accept foreign contributions?
Not yet. Our FCRA application is pending, so for now we can only accept donations from Indian bank accounts and Indian-registered entities.
